Montreal metro
Montreal Metro was created on October 14, 1966, during the term of Mayor Jean Drapeau. Montreal Metro is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM). Montreal Metro consisting of 68 stations on four separate lines, serving the north, east, and centre of the Island of Montreal. It also connects to Longueuil and Laval. The Montreal Metro was inspired by the Paris Metro, which shares the same rubber-wheel car design and Montreal Metro station architecture.
